 3.8 Step 6

  

This step examines the drive as the possible source of the problem.

  

1.  Press the power switch to turn off the power.

  

2.  Reconnect the power supply connector (J2) to the drive.

  

3.  Press the power switch to turn on the power.

  

  

Does the power-on light come on and stay on, and is there airflow from the fan?

  

  

NO        Replace the drive, then return to Step 6. Refer to "Removing and Replacing the Drive" in topic 4.3.

  

YES       Go to Step 9.
