1. Press the Stop key (if the printer is READY) to temporarily stop any current

print jobs and make the printer NOT READY.

2. Press the Menu/Exit key to enter menu mode.

3. Scroll to the ATTACHMENTS menu, and press the Enter key. Enter the key

operator password, if prompted.

4. Scroll to the attachment you want to configure, and press the Enter key to

make the selection.

5. Scroll to CONFIGURATION, and press the Enter key.

6. Scroll to INSTALL STATUS, and press the Enter key.

7. Scroll to INSTALLED, and press the Enter key.

8. Press the Menu/Exit key to exit menu mode.

9. Press the Start key to make the printer READY and continue printing.

Setting Configuration Parameters

To configure an attachment, do the following:

1. Press the Stop key (if the printer is READY) to temporarily stop any current

print jobs and make the printer NOT READY.

2. Press the Menu/Exit key to enter menu mode.

3. Scroll to the ATTACHMENTS menu, and press the Enter key. Enter the key

operator password, if prompted.

4. Scroll to the attachment you want to configure, and press the Enter key to

make the selection.

5. Scroll to CONFIGURATION, and press the Enter key.

6. For each parameter, select from the choices or use the keyboard to enter the

desired value.

Printing the Attachment Configuration

You can print a page that lists the attachment configuration items and their current
settings.

Note: The printer must be NOT READY and OFFLINE (disabled) to print the
attachment configuration. See “Enabling/Disabling an Attachment” on page 4-16.

To print the attachment configuration, do the following:

1. Press the Stop key (if the printer is READY) to temporarily stop any current

print jobs and to make the printer NOT READY.

2. Press the Menu/Exit key to enter menu mode.

3. Scroll to the ATTACHMENTS menu, and press the Enter key. Enter the key

operator password, if prompted.

4. Scroll to the attachment for the configuration you want to print. Press the Enter

key.

5. Scroll to CONFIGURATION, and press the Enter key.

6. If you want to specify the number of copies, scroll to QUANTITY, and press the

Enter key. Use the keyboard to specify the number of copies.
