TRT33A Getting Started
Once the memory location, HV and LV name plate voltages, and the test voltage are defined, press
ENTER
to change to the
READY
state.
If one of these values has to be changed, press
STOP
to return to a previous menu.
The flashing green LED indicates that TRT33A is now ready to start the test. Press
START
to run a test.
At the start of the test, a cable connection check is done. In case a cable is disconnected, an alarm is
activated and the error message is shown on the display (see section 7,
Error messages
).
The red LED flash continuously during the test
Press
STOP
if you want to abort the test. Display is showing
CONFIGURATION
menu.
If AVGD option in
CONFIGURATION
menu is selected, the TRT33A will automatically detect vector
group of transformer under test. There will be question to continue test with detected vector group or to
return to manually select the vector group.

The display when the TRT33A has detected vector group is shown below:

If the device cannot detect unique vector group, the TRT33A asks to select one of possible vector
groups. Take a look at the figure below:
