AUTO HOLD
To cancel the AUTO HOLD operation, press the AUTO HOLD switch again.
The Auto Hold feature assists in steep
hill areas. It holds the brake until the
accelerator pedal is pressed.
1. Press the AUTO HOLD switch.

2. Stop the vehicle by pressing the brake pedal. The brakes
will remain engaged even if the brake pedal is released.
GREEN
3. The brakes will release when the accelerator pedal is
pressed with transmission in D, R or manual mode.

The EPB will automatically be applied when:
- Engine off while Auto Hold is enabled, parked on a slope, or with the
engine off in park but the vehicle still moves a bit.
To release the automatic EPB:
- With engine running, depress the brake pedal and shift into
R(Reverse) or D(Drive) and then depress accelerator pedal.
REVERSE PARKING DISTANCE WARNING (PDW)
Reverse Parking Distance Warning can
warn the driver if an obstacle is detected
when the vehicle is moving forward or
backward at low speeds.
•
Reverse Parking Distance Warning will
operate when the gear is in R (Reverse).
•
Reverse Parking Distance Warning
detects a person, animal or object in
the rear when the vehicle’s rearward
speed is below 6 mph.
