Lane Following Assist detects lane
markers on the road using the front
view camera mounted on the front
windshield. LFA helps to assist the
driver steering to help keep the
vehicle centered in the lane.
To enable LFA while driving,
press the Lane Driving Assist
button on the steering wheel.
LANE FOLLOWING ASSIST (LFA)
• To turn LKA on,
press the Lane Safety button.
• To turn LKA off,
press the button again.
• LKA settings may be adjusted in
the Vehicle Settings menu under
Driver Assistance > Lane Safety
Lane Keeping Assist detects lane
markers on the road, and helps
prevent the vehicle from departing
the lane while driving.
LANE KEEPING ASSIST (LKA)
LKA will operate when your vehicle
speed is above 40 mph. The
indicator in the cluster display will
illuminate green when all the
conditions have been met.
Refer to the Owner's Manual for
more detailed information.
NOTE:
During operation, you
may feel the sensation of
steering wheel movement.
BLIND-SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (BCA)
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist helps
avoid collisions with a rear side vehicle when
changing lanes.
When operating the turn signal switch to
change lanes, if there is a risk of collision with a
rear side vehicle, BCA provides a warning or
controls the vehicle to help avoid a collision
depending on the collision risk levels.
Collision warning
Collision warning will operate when your
vehicle speed is above 12 mph and the rear
side vehicle in the direction the turn signal is
on is above 7 mph.
Collision-Avoidance Assist
Differential braking will be assisted to help
prevent collision with the vehicle in the blind
spot area when your vehicle speed is above
40 mph and both lane markings of the driving
lane are detected.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist is designed to
detect and monitor the vehicle ahead and warn
the driver if a collision is imminent. This feature
also allows pedestrian detection.
On vehicles equipped with both front view
camera and front radar sensor, a cyclist detection
is also available.
FORWARD COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (FCA)
To operate FCA, select the Forward Safety sub
menu in the LCD cluster display or infotainment
system.
Setup > Vehicle Settings > Driver Assistance >
Forward Safety

Operating conditions
When the system is activated, the indicator ( ) on the cluster will
illuminate. The color of the indicator will change depending on the
condition of LFA .
- Green: Steering assist mode is On
- White: Steering assist mode is Off
