After a call is established between you and another party,
press the programmed
Cancel Call
key within the auto
reset time (the LED glows orange), and your radio will exit
the established call immediately (the alert tone sounds
twice).
Scan
Scan Type:
You can ask your dealer to enable one of the following
scan types for your radio.
Normal Scan
It allows you to listen to communication activities on other
channels so that you can keep a close track of your team
members.
2. Vote Scan
It applies to multi-frequency simulcast systems, which
are suitable for places with abundant spectrum resource.
In the system, the repeater allows for wide coverage. A
typical multi-frequency simulcast system is composed
of a set of scattered base stations that are transmitting

at the same frequency. In this system, the radios are
configured to transmit at the same frequency, but to
receive at different frequencies. The radio scans the
frequencies of these base stations, and selects the
closest base station to communicate through voting
algorithm.
Operation:
1. Scan Start
Scan Start for Normal Scan:
Press the programmed
Scan
key in standby mode;
or
Operate on a channel for which the feature “Auto
Scan” is enabled via the programming software.
Scan Start for VOTE Scan:
The radio will activate VOTE scan automatically upon
power-on.
2. After the feature is enabled, your radio will scan
according to the scan list set for the channel on
which scanning starts. The scanning process is as
follows:
