Remove the tappet and the shim.

CAUTION

Draw out the tappet and shim with the strong
magnet not to be scratched.

ENGINE 3-12

Loosen the six cylinder head bolts.

●

Remove the chain guide NO.1 and cylinder head.

●

Loosen the cylinder head base bolt.

NOTE

W h e n l o o s e n i n g t h e c y l i n d e r h e a d b o l t s ,
loosen each bolt little by little diagonally.
