Install the brake pads. (Refer to page 2-18)

SILICONE GREASE

●

Apply  SILICONE  GREASE  to  the  brake  caliper
holder.

●

Tighten the caliper mounting bolts

With  the  hose  end  seated  to  the  stopper,  tighten
the right and left front brake hose union bolt 

�.

●

Fill the system with brake fluid and bleed  air. (Refer
to page 2-19)
Inspection after reassembly : Refer to page 2-17

CALIPER REASSEMBLY

Reassemble  the  caliper  in  the  reverse  order  of
disassembly  procedures  and  observe  the  following
points.

●

Install the brake pad spring.

Brake fluid specification and classification 

(Front brake) : DOT 3 or DOT 4
(Rear brake) : DOT 4

CAUTION

�

Wash the caliper components with fresh brake
fluid  before  reassembly.  Do  not  wipe  off
brake fluid after washing the components.

�

Replace the piston seal and dust seal into new
ones with brake fluid applied.
