An other safety measure is the steam cylin-
der minimum water level control. For heater
element protection and thermical overload
risk avoidance, no heater element drive
enabling is issued in case of minimum water
level underrun.
Intrinsic safety
StandardLine steam humidifiers comply with
intrinsic safety requirements in that the elec-
trical power supply may be cut by two
devices. In case of the electric heater steam
humidfier, these devices are the main con-
tactor and the solid state relay.
For electrical connection of the steam humid-
ifier a residual current circuit breaker is re-
commended.
