DISASSEMBLY (CONTINUED)

7. Compress the spring (12) and washer (11)

to remove the motor shaft retaining ring

(71), then remove the block compression

spring (12) and washer (11) from the motor

shaft (13).

8. Remove the cylinder block (3) from the mo-

tor shaft (13). Inspect the cylinder block (3)

for damage or wear.

9. To ease reassembly, mark the port block

(15), and ring gear (23) prior to disassem-

bly. Also mark the brake actuating handle

(36, Fig. 12) and brake cam (31, Fig. 14).
