Cause(s)

Remedy

There is no voltage
supply to the
electric motor.

Check the supply line to the
filtration unit. Replace it if
necessary.

The electric motor /
pump is defective

Contact HYDAC.

The transport seals
have not been
removed.

Remove the transport seals.
Transport seals are the yellow
plastic plugs.

The fluid is heavily
contaminated.
The contamination
retention capacity
of the filter element
has been reached.

Replace the filter element.

The filter is clogged
(Clogging indicator
appears)

The viscosity of the
fluid is too high.

Check the viscosity of the
medium.
Heat the medium to reach the
permissible viscosity.

Wrong, missing, or
defective sealing
ring.

Check the sealing ring on the
filter element. Replace it if
necessary.

Leakage on the unit
/ filter housing

The filter element is
insufficiently
tightened.

Tighten the filter housing
somewhat by hand.
