Starting up/using the unit
The filtration unit is supplied ex works with installed filter elements.
Open the shut-off valves on the inlet and outlet side slowly in order to prevent
pressure surges. Vent the filter housing completely following commissioning or
each time you change a filter element.
During operation, pay particular attention to operating conditions such as
operating temperature, operating pressure and the permissible back pressure
on the filter element.
Switching on/switching off pump - only for option: /-PKZ
If the OLF is equipped with a pump and an
On/Off switch, switch the pump on or off at the
On/Off switch. The on/off switch has a motor
protection switch.
Performing maintenance
The filtration unit is supplied as standard without a differential pressure
indicator.
We have several clogging indicators with optical or electrical signal transmitters
in our accessories list.
The clogging indicator displays how high the differential pressure over the filter
element is. The filtration takes place between 0 to 3 bar. When the back
pressure > 3 bar, the bypass valve opens.
We recommend changing the filter element at 2.5 bar.
