10.6.1 Special note 15000 psi sensors
If a programmable pressure switch with a 15000 psi measuring range is connected to a
HPG 3000, the measured value, switch points and hysteresis will be displayed in kpsi, not
psi.
The display will however continue to be indicated as psi.
The range from 0 .. 15000 psi will be displayed on the HPG 3000 as 0.00 .. 15.00
Example:
The value shown of 13.25 psi equates in this case to
13.25 kpsi = 13250 psi.
