Part 1
With the ignition
switch off:

a. The control panel
has lights on.

There should be no power on pin #1 of the control panel.  Trace the
wire to its source.  The wire should be connected to the ACC side of
the ignition switch.

Part 2
With the ignition
switch in the ACC
or ON position and
the control panel
off:

a. The system ON
light is lit.

If the control panel has a two position master switch, make sure the
switch is in the "OFF" position.  If the light remains on, the control panel
should be repaired or replaced.

REFER TO MI91.1065

b. A red warning
light is lit and no
jacks are extended

Unplug the wires to the JACK WARNING LIGHT pins.  If the warning
light does not go out, replace the panel.

If the warning light goes out, plug the wires back in and disconnect the
jack warning switch from the harness.  If the light goes out replace the
switch.  If the light does not go out, the harness wire is shorted to ground
and should be repaired.

Part 3
With the MASTER
switch "ON":

a. The system on
light will not come
on.  No other lights
come on and the
system will not func-
tion.

Check the 5 amp fuse in the control panel.
