Measuring the rear wheel dimension unloaded
Preparatory work
- Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. (

Main work
- Position the sag gage in the rear axle and measure the
distance to marking SAG on the rear fender.

- Note down the value as dimension 6).
Finishing work
- Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. (

Checking the static sag of the shock absorber
- Measure dimension 6) of rear wheel unloaded. (

- Hold the motorcycle upright with the aid of an assistant.

- Measure the distance again between the rear axle and mark-
ing SAG on the rear fender using the sag gage.
- Note down the value as dimension
