- Add brake fluid to level f).

I Brake fluid DOT 4 / DOT 5.1 (

p. 298)

- Mount and tighten screw cap

with membrane @ and

the O-ring.

Info

Clean up overflowed or spilled brake fluid immedi

ately with water.

(Option: MAGURA)

- Stand the vehicle upright.

- Remove the cable tie on the frame protector.

- Remove screw cap

with membrane @ and the shim.

- Manually press the brake caliper toward the brake disc

to push back the brake piston. Ensure that brake fluid

does not flow out of the brake fluid reservoir, if necessary

extract excess.

Info

Make sure that you do not press the brake caliper

against the spokes when pushing back the brake

piston.

- Remove cotter pin (D.

- Push spring plate

downwards and remove pin

- Remove the brake linings.

- Clean the brake caliper and brake caliper bracket.
- Check that spring plate

in the brake caliper and slid-

ing plate

in the brake caliper bracket are seated cor

rectly.

- Insert the new brake linings.

- Mount pin

✓ Spring plate

engages in the groove on the pin.

Info

Always change the brake linings in pairs.

Make sure that decoupling plate @ is mounted

on the piston side brake lining.
