17.4.10 Measuring the crankshaft end play

- Insert the crankshaft into the right section of the engine case.

Info

Do not forget the dowels.

Mount the left section of the engine case.
Mount and tighten the screws.
Guideline

- Mount the dial gauge support on the engine case and mea

sure and note down the crankshaft axial play.

If the measured value does not meet specifications:

- Remove the crankshaft.

- Remove the crankshaft bearing inner race. (
