3. For BMC 335RC: Read the operator's manual for
the remote control carefully and make sure that you
understand the instructions.
4. Use personal protective equipment. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 8 .
5. Make sure that only approved persons are in the
work area.
6. Do daily maintenance. Refer to Maintenance
schedule on page 19
.
7. Make sure that the product is assembled correctly
and is not damaged.
8. Put the product on the work area. Make sure that the
surface is level. Make sure that the transportation of
the product to and in the work area is done safely
and correctly. Refer to Transportation on page 31 .
9. Make sure that the height of the front wheels is set
correctly for the operation. Refer to To adjust the
height of the front wheels on page 13
.
10. Make sure that the tools do not hit the ground.
a) Set the lift lever in the up position.
b) Turn the depth adjustment wheel clockwise.
11. Connect a dust extractor to the product. Refer to
To
connect a dust extractor on page 14 .
12. Connect the product to a power source. Refer to
To
connect the product to a power source on page 14 .
13. Make sure that the switch for direction of rotation is
set correctly. Refer to
To set the direction of rotation
of the motor on page 14 .
14. Make sure that the height of the brushes below the
drum housing is correct for the operation depth. If it
is necessary, loosen the nuts, adjust the height and
tighten the nuts.
Diamond blade drum
To select the correct diamond blades for the
operation
1. Examine the hardness of the floor with a
sclerometer.
2. Refer to the diagram to select type of diamond
blade. The X axis shows the strength of the floor in
MPa.

To install the diamond blades
WARNING:
Install a minimum of 1
spacer between each diamond blade.
WARNING:
Do not install more than 80
diamond blades on the drum.
CAUTION:
Install all blades with the
same direction of rotation.
