General information
Make sure that the telephone cable isn’t
damaged and is correctly inserted.
Disconnect any additional equipment, ex
-
tension cables and other telephones.
If the telephone works then, this indicates
that the fault is caused by another piece of
equipment.
Try to connect your telephone to a neigh-
bour’s line, for example. If it works there, this
indicates that there may be a fault on your
telephone line. Call the service provider to
report the fault.
The telephone doesn’t work
• Make sure that the mains adapter is
correctly inserted into the telephone and
into the mains socket.
• Make sure that the telephone cable is
correctly inserted into the telephone and
into the telephone socket.
• Connect another telephone to your tele-
phone line. If it works, it indicates that
your telephone is probably faulty.
• Only use the original cable or a telephone
cable with an international configuration.
