9. Attach the sling to the connection points of
the lift arm without using excessive force.
Carefully check each of the attachments.
Using the hand control, raise the lift arm
until there is some tension in the sling but
do not start lifting the client yet. Check the
attachments again.
10. Press the up button to move the client to
the desired standing position.
11. Release the brakes.
12. Move the lift backwards so that the legs
can be closed again (2nd button on the
hand control).
13. Start moving the client. For the comfort
of the client it is better to keep to short
distances.
14. Once you have reached your destination,
apply the brakes again. If necessary, open
the legs of the lift before getting close to
another object (e.g. chair/toilet).
15. Lower the client by holding down the rele-
vant down button until the client is seated
and the sling can be released.
16. Remove the sling after you have made sure
that the client is fully seated on a firm and
stable surface, with support for the feet.
17. Release the brakes.
18. Move the product away and park it in a
safe place.
