13. Maintenance and care
For a continuous and safe operation the following
points need to be attended regularly:

Clean the hand terminal monthly from any dirt,
wipe off coolant residues and other fluids
immediately.

Clean the charging contacts on the charging
station and the hand terminal monthly, i.e. with
spirit (Danger: be careful – with flammable
fluids).

Always clean the magnet on the hand terminal
from swarf or splinters before returning it to the
charging station!

Once a month run the batteries from the hand
terminal down without charging to LOW-BATT -
this increases the strength of the battery
charge.

Change rechargeable batteries every 2 years.
-
Check the emergency stop monthly!

Change of rechargeable batteries
The batteries should be preventatively changed
every 2 years. Only use NiMh-rechargeable
batteries (Size AA) with a capacity of min.
2100mAh.

take out the 6 screws S from the housing

Carefully lift the housing lid and pull off

Put housing cover aside

pull off plug A, B, C + D

remove the 4 screws E

take out and turn conductor board P
