to set the parameters related to
messaging:
y
Message center: The U626 phone can automatically read the number of the
message centre from the USIM card. If no such information or you have
deleted the information by accident, please contact your network operator for
it.
y
Valid period: The time of keeping a message in the message centre after it is
sent.
y
Auto save: You can set whether a message will be saved automatically to the
Outbox when it is sent. You have three options: Yes, No and Remind before.
y
Save to: For setting the location for saving a newly created message. You
have two alternatives: Phone preferred or USIM preferred.
y
Signature: For setting whether your signature will be sent along with the
message. You can edit the signature by yourself.
y
Status report: You can set it to “On” or “Off”. If you set it to “On”, the
network will send you the information on whether the message has reached to
the recipient.
Multimedia Message (MMS)
The U626 provides four mailboxes for MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service), namely,
Inbox, Drafts, Sent and Sample.
Inbox
The Inbox is used to save the multimedia messages you received.
