Messaging
Creating Text Messages
Before using the messaging service, you need to set the message center number. For more
information, please refer to “Text Message (SMS)/Settings” on page 62.
A text message to be sent can contain 160 English characters or 70 Chinese characters at
most. If the characters you entered are more than this limit, the text will be divided into two
or more continuous messages for sending.

to enter the “Edit SMS” screen.

From the “Edit SMS” screen, select

You may select one of the text entry methods to enter the message contents.

Selecting
Text template
, you can speed up the text entry.

to confirm.

Access the “Edit numbers” screen:

Enter the phone number and select
Send
.

Options/Group

Contacts
to choose a number and send the
message.

Options/Save
to save the message.
