1 Getting to Know Your Phone

HUAWEI

Key

Description

Character/

Number key

Used to enter numbers or characters.

When menu items are numbered, press one of them to access a
corresponding menu item.

On the main menu screen, press a Character/Number key to access a
menu whose location on the screen corresponds to that of the key.

For instance, you can press

to access the Browser menu, or

to access the Tools menu.

Record key

In standby mode with the flip opened, press and hold it for a moment
to activate the voice recorder.

During a call, press it to activate the voice recorder.

In standby mode with the phone folded, press and hold it to start
recording, and press it again to end the recording.

In standby mode with the phone folded, press it to activate the
external screen and display relevant information; and press it again
within five seconds, the information will be displayed in a scroll bar
on the external screen.

During charging with power is off and the phone folded, press it to
display the percentage of the battery power on the external screen.

Volume key

In standby mode or during a call, press it to adjust the volume of the
earpiece.

During charging with power is off and the phone folded, press it to
display the percentage of the battery power on the external screen.
