2.5 Controlling Devices
Context
After setting the device parameters, use the Telepresence System Manager to control the
following devices:
Microphone
Speaker
Power supply
Procedure
Step 1
From the menu bar, click
Device Control
to display the device topology.
Step 2
Control the devices as follows:
Click
Microphone
to mute or unmute the microphone.
indicates that the
microphone is not muted;
indicates that the microphone is muted.
Click
Speaker
to mute or unmute the speaker.
indicates that the speaker is not
muted;
indicates that the speaker is muted.
Click
Power
and choose
Control
. From the
Power Control
page, view the power status
of codec, camera and HD display, and click a power button to control the power supply
to the corresponding device.

: powered off
−
: powered on
−
: The telepresence host detects that the device is disconnected from its power
supply.

2.6 Viewing Device Status
Context
From the device topology of the Telepresence System Manager, you can view the operating
status of all devices.
Procedure
Step 1
Click
Device Control
.
Step 2
View the status of devices.
If a device's name button is red or
appears, the device is not running properly.
