Installing Ethernet Service Cables

•The EFP8, EM6T, EM6F, EG4 and EMS6 boards provide

the FE ports.

•The CSHL, EM6T, EM6F, EM6S and EG4 boards provide

the GE electrical ports.

•The Ethernet service port supports the MDI/MDI-X

adaptive function. Therefore, you can assemble either a

crossover cable or a straight-through cable. It is

recommended that you assemble a straight-through cable.
