You don't have to pay for the GPS function if your phone supports it. However, searching for
navigation information or loading maps while using GPS will incur data traffic, which you
need to pay for.

It depends. GPS doesn't use data traffic itself. However, data traffic is necessary when your
phone loads real-time information or map data. The data traffic volume depends on the
information loaded.
