4.5 Control Plane

This chapter describes the control plane of the CX600-X8.

NOTE

The 200G switch and route processing unit cannot be used together with 40G switch and route processing
unit for long-term working.

4.5.1 Introduction to the Control Plane

This section describes the functions of the control plane.

The control plane of the CX600 is separated from the data plane and the monitoring plane. The
SRU is used by the CX600-X8.

The SRU integrates an SFU used for data switching.

System Control and Management Unit

As the system control and management unit, the SRU provides the following functions on the
system control panel:
