Configuration Roadmap

The configuration roadmap is as follows:

Configure IP addresses for interfaces on routes along the primary link and static routes to
ensure connectivity at the network layer.

Configure C-DCC on RouterA and RouterB and configure dialer numbers 600501 and
600502 so that RouterA can initiate calls to and receive calls from RouterB.

Configure an NQA test instance on RouterA.

Associate interface backup with NQA on backup interface PRI1/0/0:15 of RouterA.

Data Preparation

To complete the configuration, you need the following data:

IP addresses of interfaces on RouterA, RouterB, RouterC, and RouterD, dialer numbers,
and static routes

Administrator and name of the NQA test instance

NQA test instance type (the NQA test instance can only be ICMP)

Destination IP address of the NQA test instance

Start and end modes of the NQA test instance

Procedure

Implement connectivity at the network layer.
