1.

Configure OSPF to enable RouterA, RouterB, and RouterC to communicate with each
other.

2.

Configure the QinQ termination subinterface on RouterA and RouterB.

3.

Create backup group 1 on GE2/0/0.1 of RouterA. Configure the highest priority for
RouterA in the backup group to ensure that RouterA functions as the master. Configure the
preemption mode for RouterA.

4.

Create backup group 2 on GE2/0/0.2 of RouterA. Configure the highest priority for
RouterA in the backup group to ensure that RouterA functions as the master. Configure the
preemption mode for RouterA.

5.

Create backup group 2 on GE2/0/0.1 of RouterB and use the default priority.

6.

Create backup group 2 on GE2/0/0.2 of RouterB and use the default priority.

7.

Configure the QinQ function on SwitchA to ensure that packets sent from SwitchA to
RouterA and RouterB carry two tags.

8.

Configure the basic Layer 2 forwarding function on SwitchB and SwitchC.

Data Preparation

To complete the configuration, you must prepare the following data:

l

ID and virtual IP address of the VRRP backup group

l

Priority of each router in the backup group

l

Tag value of each QinQ termination subinterface

Configure interworking between the Routers.

Configure OSPF on RouterA, RouterB, and RouterC.
