Backup and NQA to Implement Ethernet Link Backup

This section describes how to configure association between interface backup and NQA to
implement fast switching between the primary link and the backup link.

Networking Requirements

As shown in 

Figure 1-11

, the link RouterA->RouterB->RouterD is the primary link and the link

RouterA->RouterC->RouterD is the backup link.
