108 Exchanging Messages

Read delivery reports

To view delivery reports

Enable

Delivery reports

in the SMS or MMS settings. For details, see “Adjust

text and multimedia message settings” later in this chapter.

In the message list, touch a message thread to open it.

Touch and hold the message in the thread with the delivery report icon
(

), then touch

View report

on the options menu. Delivery reports can be:

Received

(

) The message is received by your recipients.

Pending

(

) The phone is still sending the message.

Failed

(

) The message failed to reach your recipients.

To manage undelivered messages

A delivery problem occurred if this icon

appears along with the message in the

message list or message thread. Touch and hold the message in the message list,

then touch

View

to edit, retry sending, or delete the message.

To see all your undelivered messages, in the message list, press MENU and then

touch

Adjust text and multimedia message settings

In the message list, press MEN and then touch

to adjust the text or

multimedia message settings. You can set the following options:

Delivery reports

Select this option to receive a report on the delivery status of your

message. For more information, refer to “Reading delivery reports”

earlier in this chapter.
