Use the

E-mail Information

window to configure settings to report storage system failures (SIMs) by e-

mail. You can also send a test e-mail from this window.

Specify whether to report system failures by e-mail.

: Reports system failures by e-mail.

Disable

: Does not report system failures by e-mail.

Mail Server

Set an IPv4 address, an IPv6 address, or a host name of the mail server.

• To set an IPv4 address, select IPv4, and enter four integers in the range of 0 to

255 (for example,

nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn

, where n is a number).

• To set an IPv6 address, select IPv6, and enter eight hexadecimal numbers in the

range of 0 to FFFF (for example,
