Disconnect any internal cables that are connected to the expansion board.

If any full-length expansion boards are installed, release the full-length expansion board retainer (

Remove the PCIe riser cage.

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION:

To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless all PCI

slots have either an expansion slot cover or an expansion board installed.
