Fan tray power consumption
The switch uses fan trays that can automatically adjust the fan speed based on the heat dissipation
condition of the switch. The power consumed by a fan tray depends on the fan speed.

Total power consumption
For the 7502, 7503-S, 7503, 7506, 7506-V, or 7510, the total power consumption of the switch
equals its system power consumption plus its PoE power consumption.
System power consumption
The system power consumption of the switch depends on the type and number of the running
modules and the fan tray power consumption.

The minimum system power consumption is the total static power consumption of all modules
plus the minimum fan tray power consumption. For example, a 7503 switch is installed with two
LSQM2MPUD0 MPUs, three LSQ3GV48SC0 (LSQM3GV48SC0) service modules, and one
fan tray. The minimum system power consumption of the switch is 2 × 55 + 3 × 67 + 15.5 =
326.5 W.
