2 Using Your PC
Introducing the HP Utilities
Some Buttons You May Need To Use
The Working in Comfort button provides
important ergonomic advice for using your
computer.
Click on this button if you want to change
the name of the user of the PC. If a user
name has already been entered during the
software initialization routine, you may wish
to change it.
Click on this button to set the correct date
and time for the PC. Use when the daylight
saving hour changes or when you change
the PC’s battery.
The Printers button lets you set up and
configure your printer. Use this tool when
you attach a printer to your PC. (Refer to
your printer’s manual for configuration
information.)
Click on this button to change the video
resolution, the number of colors displayed,
and the display’s ergonomic refresh rate.
Click on this button if you install a new
display.
NOTE To click on a button, use the mouse to move the pointer to the button
then press the mouse button. To learn more about Windows, click on
Help in the Windows Program Manager and select the Windows
Tutorial.
