Pull the I/O module (3) out of the enclosure using the I/O module handle.

Installing an I/O module

Procedure

Slide the replacement I/O module (1) into the enclosure and close the I/O module handle (2).

Tighten the captive retainer thumbscrew (3).

Reconnect all cables to the I/O module.

Verifying I/O module operation

Procedure

Ensure the I/O module is operating properly by checking the status LEDS. For more information, see
"Related reference".
