Removal and replacement procedures 46

IPMI card

To remove the IPMI card:
1

Loosen the screws that secure the IPMI card to the front panel.

Loosen the screws that secure the system board to the tray.

Pull the IPMI card up to release it from the connector.

Fasten the screw back to secure the system board to the tray after removing the IPMI card.

To install the IPMI card:

Loosen the screws that secure the system board to the tray.

Align the IPMI card with the open expansion slot and press the IPMI card straight down into the
expansion connector on the system board.

Fasten the screws back to secure the system board and IPMI card to the tray.
