Basic Settings for Peer-to-Peer Workgroups
If you want to connect to a Peer-to-Peer workgroup, use the Add/Edit Configuration Profile
window to:
• Connect to a Peer-to-Peer workgroup
• Set the Network Name and Encryption Key.
To complete the basic settings for a Peer-to-Peer workgroup:
1 In the Network Name field, enter the name of the wireless network that you want to
connect to.
NOTE
The Network Name can be any alphanumeric string in the range of “a” to “z”, “A” to
“Z” or “0” to “9” with a maximum of 32 case-sensitive characters.
•If there is a Peer-to-Peer workgroup with the name already available, your
computer will automatically connect to the workgroup, or
•If there is no such group, your computer will automatically create one with the
new name.
2 Click OK to confirm and return to the Add/Edit Configuration Profile window.
3 Click OK to proceed with the installation.
