Quick Setup

Note

To obtain the license key file, follow the procedure in

License Key File on page 2-1

If the license key is valid, you will see the Login screen. Otherwise, you will

see an error message.

Log in using the default username: admin and password: admin.

Important

If you see a blank screen instead of the HP ProCurve RF Manager Console Login screen in the

pop-up window, despite having Sun JRE 1.6, then Sun JRE 1.6 may not be the default plug-in

for your Web browser.

To ensure that Sun JRE 1.6 is the default plug-in for your Web browser, do the following:

If you see a

Java Cup

icon in the system tray, right click it and select

Open Control

Panel

.

2.

If you do not see the icon, click

Start > Settings > Control Panel

and double-click the

Java Plug-in

icon.
