Disconnect the WWAN antenna cables (2) from the terminals on the WWAN module.
NOTE:
The red WWAN antenna cable is connected to the WWAN module “Main” terminal. The blue
WWAN antenna cable is connected to the WWAN module “Aux” terminal.

Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screw (3) that secures the WWAN module to the system board.
5.
Remove the WWAN module (4) by pulling the module away from the slot.
NOTE:
WWAN modules are designed with a notch to prevent incorrect insertion.
NOTE:
If the WWAN antennas are not connected to the terminals on the WWAN module, the protective
sleeves must be installed on the antenna connectors, as shown in the following illustration.
Reverse this procedure to install the WWAN module.
When installing a WWAN module, make sure the conductive foam (1) covers the antenna connectors and
metal part of the module. Also make sure the mounting screw is partially covered as shown in the following
illustration.
