Power Reference Oscillator Frequency Adjustment

Note  

Adjustment of the power reference oscillator frequency may also 
affect the output level of the oscillator. Therefore, after the 
frequency is adjusted to 50.0

±

0.5 MHz, the output level should be 

checked as described in “Power Reference Oscillator Level 
Adjustment”, on page 3-6.
The power reference oscillator frequency is a nominal 
specification.

Description

Variable inductor A2L9 is adjusted to set the power reference oscillator 
output frequency to 50.0

±

0.5 MHz. This frequency is a supplemental 

characteristic.

Procedure

1.

Ensure that the power meter has been powered on for at least 
30 minutes before making any measurements.

2.

Connect the equipment as shown in Figure 3-1. Set up the counter 
to measure frequency.
