Upgrade Method
Upgrade methods:
•
Board by board: MPU-based ISSU upgrade. First upgrade the local standby MPU,
and then upgrade all the other MPUs one by one.
•
Chassis by Chassis: Member switch-based ISSU upgrade. Upgrade the slave switches
first, and then the original master.
Original version
Version of the old system software.
Original boot file
Path of the old system software image.
Upgrade version
New system software image version. If the new version is not available (N/A), it may be
that an IRF member switch is being upgraded and version information exchange is not
yet complete.
Upgrade boot file
Path of the new system software image.

Parameters
file
upgrading-filename
: Displays compatibility information between the specified file and the running
version. The
upgrading-filename
argument specifies a file name with a string of 1 to 63 characters. If you
enter a relative path, the system automatically converts it to an absolute path. The absolute path can
contain no more than 63 characters.

: Filters command output by specifying a regular expression. For more information about regular

begin
: Displays the first line that matches the specified regular expression and all lines that follow.
exclude
: Displays all lines that do not match the specified regular expression.
include
: Displays all lines that match the specified regular expression.
regular-expression
: Specifies a regular expression, a case-sensitive string of 1 to 256 characters.
Description
Use the
display version comp-matrix
command to display version compatibility information.
NOTE:
If you provide the
upgrading-filename argument, you will see the compatibility information between the
specified file and the running version.
If you do not provide the
upgrading-filename argument, you will see information about the compatibility
database of the current system software image. The compatibility database records compatibility
information between the current system software image and history system software images.
