Installing the HP UPS Power Protection Agent  27 

 

NOTE:

  You might need to reboot after installing the agent on Windows®. 

  

 

Installing the agent using the GUI method 

1.

 

Insert the HP Infrastructure Management Pack CD into the CD-ROM drive of the computer. If the 
AutoPlay feature is enabled, the installation menu automatically starts. If the AutoPlay feature is 

disabled, explore the CD, and double-click AUTORUN.EXE in the root folder. 
If the software has been downloaded from the HP website (

http://www.hp.com/go/rackandpower

), 

follow the instructions to unpack the files, then locate and run SETUP.EXE. 

2.

 

Select 

HP UPS Management Module

 from the side menu. 

3.

 

Select 

UPS Power Protection Agent.

 

The Welcome screen appears. 

4.

 

Read the introduction, and then click 

Next.

 

 

The License Agreement screen appears.
