Push the fan tray into the slot

Use a Phillips screwdriver to fasten the captive screws on the fan tray.

After the firewall is powered on, the RUN LED of the fan tray is steady on. This means that the fan
tray runs properly. For the LED description of the fan tray, see the chapter “

Appendix B LEDs

.”

Installing a CF card

Follow these steps to install a CF card:

Push the CF card eject button all the way into the slot, and make sure that the button does not

project from the panel.

Insert the CF card into the slot following the direction shown in

Figure 22

, and make sure it does

not project from the slot.
