Parameters
packet-size
: Maximum size of each join/prune message in bytes, in the range of 100 to 8100.
Description
Use
jp-pkt-size
to configure the maximum size of each join/prune message.
Use
undo jp-pkt-size
to restore the default.
By default, the maximum size of each join/prune message is 8100 bytes.
If PIM snooping–enabled switches are deployed in the PIM network, be sure to set a value no greater
than the path MTU for the maximum size of each join/prune message on the receiver-side edge PIM
devices
