⑦  専用レンチを用いてドロースクリュを回し,マスタジョーの位置をウェッ

ジプランジャの位置で調整します。 

前進端におけるウェッジプランジャの適正な位置は,図 6 に示すパイロッ

トブッシング取付面からの寸法Aが表 6 となる位置です。 

この時,マスタジョーのストロークマークが全ストロークマーク外側の線

に合っていることを確認してください。 

なお,ドロースクリュにはクリック(回り止めのスチールボールとスプリ

ング)が設けてありますので,少し回転が重くなった位置で停止させて,

調整してください。

⑧  最後に,パイロットブッシング,トップジョーを取付けて,作業を終えます。 

⑨  アイボルトをチャック外周に取付けて作業を行ったときは,作業終了後必ずこれを取外します。

取付に何らかの異状がある場合には作動抵抗が大きく,そのまま使用すると,部品の焼付きや異常摩耗を引き起こ

し,チャックの寿命を著しく縮めます。取付けを終えたら必ず最低作動圧を調べ,これが異常に高い場合にはチャ

ックを取外して原因を取除く必要があります。

追加工や治具取付けによってアンバランスにならないように注意してください。アンバランスがありますと振動な

どが発生して加工精度不良となります。 

アンバランスの大きいワークの場合,ワークの偏心質量による遠心力がトップジョーに加わりますので,十分検討

し低い回転速度で加工してください。 

本書が対象とするチャックの釣合い良さは,JIS B0905-1992 で定義される釣合い良さ 4mm/s を基準とし,チ

ャック外周における不釣合いの大きさは,表 7 のように規定してあります。 

(JIS B0905-1992 の対応国際規格は,ISO1940-1:1986 と ISO8821:1989 です。)

締付トルクが不足したり大きすぎるとボルトが破損して,チャックやワークが脱落する

おそれがあります。このような事故が起きれば,チャックやワークが外れて,作業者や

近くにいる人に致命的なけがを負わせるおそれがあります。
