DOOR REVERSAL
Refer to the Safety Notes at the beginning of this document before carry out any work.
The Grip Mat, Part Number C00222890 (5700072), must always be used as directed when
leaning an appliance at an angle to reduce appliance movement.
Note:
Door reversal parts supplied with the product when new will be required to complete the Door
Reversal.
Actions Required
1.
Unplug the appliance from the electricity supply.
2.
Remove all contents from the fridge door shelves / racks.
2.
Remove the Top Cover from the cabinet by removing 2 screw caps
and 2 Philips retaining screws (from above the top). Remove the cover
by pushing backwards.
This will provide access the top hinge securing bolts.
Remove the curved plastic cover from the top front edge of the hinge.
3.
Whilst supporting the fridge door (a second person is recommended),
unscrew the 3 bolts from the top hinge - see Fig.1.
Lift off the Fridge Door and place carefully to one side.4.Prepare the
top hinge for re-use on the other side by unscrewing the hinge pin and
screw it back in (securely) on the opposite side of the hinge plate.
5.
Whilst supporting the Freezer door (if necessary), remove the 2 bolts
securing the centre hinge.
Lift away the hinge and door and place carefully to one side.
6.
Remove the 2 blanking plugs on the opposite of the appliance in line with the centre hinge position.
7.
With the assistance of another person (if necessary) lean the
appliance back at an angle (not horizontal) to allow access to
the 3 bolts securing the bottom hinge bracket.
Remove the 3 screws securing the hinge, and transfer it to the
opposite side and tighten the bolts.
Note that only 3 of the 4 holes are used in the bracket.
The holes used differ depending on which side of the appliance
it is fitted to. When correctly fitted hinge pin will be aligned more
with the outer edge of the appliance.
8.
Both doors are fitted with plastic hinge pin sleeves which must
be transferred to the new hinge position. they are only a loose
push fit.
9.
Fridge Door bottom edge:
Remove the screws securing the
existing door closure aid (Fig.3) and fit the new one supplied to
the opposite side. Holes are already pre-drilled for this part -
use the existing screws

Freezer Door bottom edge:
Remove the screws securing the
existing door closure aid (Fig.4) and transfer it to the opposite
side. Holes are already pre-drilled for this part - use the existing
screws.
11. Place the Freezer Door on the bottom hinge pin and refit the
Centre Hinge (now inverted) to keep it in place, using the
original bolts. Fit 2 plastic blanking plugs to the holes on the
opposite side of the cabinet.
12. Fit the Fridge Door onto the centre hinge pin and refit the top
hinge to retain the door in position using the original bolts.
13. Ensure both doors are correctly aligned with the cabinet and each other and also open and close
correctly. Both top and bottom hinges allow for some adjustment as they have slotted fixing holes.
