Unfold Function Explanation
1. Enter Unfold Mode from
main work screen and unfold
icon shown above. At full fold
with wings completely in the
saddle the toolbar should be at
90 degrees. If toolbar is not at
90 degrees, the toolbar position
potentiometer may need to be
calibrated before unfold
procedure should be attempted
(see toolbar position
potentiometer calibration in
software configurations
explanation).
2. Tractor remotes off, select
toolbar lower/unfold icon.
Engage tractor remote
designated for lift/fold function
to lower the toolbar. Rear of
toolbar will begin to lower and
ends of wings will begin to raise
out of the saddles. toolbar
position potentiometer reading
will begin to lower from 90
degrees.
3. When toolbar reaches
approximately 70 degrees the
wings will automatically begin
to fold out. Continue to fold
wings out until wings are even
across. Disengage tractor
remote. At this time the sliding
gauge wheel icon (if equipped)
will turn red indicating to slide
gauge wheels in before
continuing with the unfold
procedure. ( Note: Do not
attempt to slide gauge wheels
in or out with wheels
contacting the ground!)
4. Select the sliding gauge
wheel icon (if not equipped
with sliding gauge wheels
proceed to step 5) and engage
tractor remote once more to
slide the gauge wheels in.
Disengage tractor remote. Step
5 can not be completed until
gauge wheels are slid in. ( Note:
Do not attempt to slide gauge
wheels in or out with wheels
contacting the ground!)
5. Select the toolbar lower
icon and engage tractor
remote to lower the toolbar.
toolbar will lower until
approximately the 22 degrees
position and then stop. A
check mark indicating unfold
function is complete will be
displayed and the bottom right
of screen. Select the check
mark to return to main work
screens . ( Note: if equipped
with sliding gauge wheels,
check mark will not be
displayed. Operator will
automatically be navigated
back to main screen)
Note: If SOD fan or ground speed signal is noticed, the machine will not fold.
