crushed and severely injured between machine
and tractor!
¾

tractor and machine.
No person must be present between machine
and tractor when the tractor approaches the
machine or moves away from it!

NOTE
¾
Observe the permissible total weight of the
tractor, the maximum lifting force, the permis-
sible axle loads as well as the weight distribu-
tion, see chapter
Ballasting
and
Technical data
.
¾
Check all plug-and-socket connections (hy-
draulic, electric and pneumatic) for cleanli-
ness and firm seating.
Dirty connectors will contaminate the flowing
media. The connectors therefore become
worn and this results in malfunctions and
failures in the connected assembly groups.
¾
Adjust the braces on the tractor link arms so
that the tractor link arms are aligned parallel
to the level ground. Align the tractor link arms
at the same distance toward the centre of
the tractor and lock against lateral swinging
if necessary.
¾
Align the upper link in such a way that it is
parallel to the tractor link arms or slightly
drops towards the tractor. The machine shall
be in horizontal position during use.
The machine must be properly connected to a
tractor before any machine movements.
1. Clean the towing facilities of machine and
tractor and check for wear.
2. Make sure that the hitching facilities on tractor
and machine match.
3. Move the tractor to the machine for coupling.
Couple and secure the tractor link arm.
4. If necessary lock the tractor link arms against
sideways movement.
